Major Duties
Under general direction of the Senior Director, Information Services, and in close collaboration with stakeholders across the institution, serves as the lead in the following areas for the university: web development management, content management, distributed development and content management integration. Serves as lead developer and supervisor of IT Web Content Management Services: creates technical designs, writes code for modifications and new functionality, documents work, creates technical documentation, and develops, documents and executes test strategies and test plans. Is responsible for the Drupal Enterprise Content Management System (CMS) (WebOne), for administrative web site content throughout the university, and maintains oversight of all IT Drupal environments both internal and external. Provides vision, leadership, standards, code reviews, processes and architecture to make the development more effective for the web content owners who are distributed throughout campus divisions. Is responsible for the design and development of new modules integrating services with CMS, as needed. Establishes standard processes including workflow, approvals and publishing; integrates systems and key web services; manages source control; automates common administrative tasks and provides tools and processes regarding user provisioning, access control and workflow. Assists and coordinates with other IT teams as needed; provides additional project support with regard to web programming, including PHP and SQL; and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in a job-related field. Master¿s degree preferred. Five years of full-time, progressively responsible field-related experience with website development, including one year of project management, team leadership, systems implementation and PeopleSoft development. Proven experience developing Drupal required. Preferred experience: managing and administering a Drupal enterprise instance; with PHP technology, development tools, and GIT; and experience with portal, mobile and/or web content management technologies and concepts preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Extensive knowledge of: programming, systems analysis techniques, and systems development principles; and relational database principles. Working knowledge of web applications technology, design concepts and implementation. Advanced Drupal administration skills including module evaluation and selection, module installation and maintenance, module patching, taxonomy development, security modeling and implementation, ongoing site process and operations, and Drupal performance optimization. Drupal integration and API capability skills, including standard integrations such as Google Analytics. Advanced Drupal development skills, including module creation, module migration, module patching and modification, advanced PHP capabilities and knowledge of relevant database structures. Working ability to use consultative and analytical skills to assess and meet University and user needs preferred. Ability and Specialized Skills to: use the following software applications and operating systems: (fill in unique software/hardware/tools or reports dependent on position); code, test, and debug software applications; provide ongoing project leadership to technical development staff; analyze problems and propose effective solution; understand functional and procedural requirements and develop alternative solutions; relate system solutions to departmental management and staff; and communicate effectively both orally and in writing; develop and make presentations; conduct meetings; develop and provide user training; and establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Demonstrated ability to assist others in learning new skills and ability to interact as a member of multiple teams, create technical documentation, debug programs and interfaces, tune systems and perform maintenance functions.

The salary range for this classification is: $6249 - $10,033
The anticipated hiring range: $6249 - $8500, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
