Northern State University invites applications for a Technology Integrationist.  This position is a 12-month exempt appointment beginning August 1, 2014. 

 

Responsibilities:  Essential responsibilities of this position include: support for the Center for Statewide E-learning.  In addition, the Technology Integrationist will support the integration of technology into learning environments both on and off campus by providing consultation and support for technology selection, as well as developing workshops, demonstrations and training opportunities.

 

Qualifications:  Qualified applicants must have a bachelors degree and one year of teaching experience; a masters degree and three years of teaching experience are preferred.  Possession of a K-12 teaching certificate is a plus.  The successful applicant should possess an understanding of emerging technologies and promising practices for the integration of technology into both online and traditional courses.  The candidate must have an excellent customer service base including the ability to interact positively with internal and external clients through effective written and oral communication.  The successful candidate will work both independently and as part of the NET Services team.
