Food Science: Washington State University Extension (WSU) – Consumer Food Safety Specialist. The College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resources Sciences (CAHNRS) seeks a trained consumer food safety professional to provide state-wide leadership and coordination for Extension education and outreach programs and applied research in consumer food safety for families, youth, and related food based businesses. This is a 12-month, tenure track, faculty position at the rank of E-2 or E-3 (analogous to Assistant or Associate Professor) within the WSU Extension Youth and Family Program Unit. The person will be an affiliate faculty member in the WSU-University of Idaho School of Food Science. The position is located on the WSU Campus in Pullman, WA. Required: Earned Master's degree at the time of application in food science, food safety, or closely relate discipline and strong academic training in consumer food safety.
