The College enrolls approximately 3,600 students approximately 2,600 undergraduates and 1,000 graduate students.
Utica College seeks full and part time accounting faculty to teach a variety of accounting-related courses appropriate to skills and experience at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Includes introductory and advanced accounting; auditing; accounting information systems; tax and other related major courses. Opportunities for Professors of Practice, Tenured Assistant or Associate Professors, 1-3 year term faculty or part time adjunct faculty for future semesters. Candidates may be assigned courses on-campus; on-line and at off-site regional locations. Teaching my occur in day or evening time slots and over all three terms (Fall, Spring and Summer) as appropriate to status.
Candidates seeking tenure-track status as Assistant Professors must be either ABD or graduated from an accredited school with a Ph.D. or DBA in accounting or a related field and eligibility for professional registration appropriate to their field. Candidates at the Associate Professor level must be currently tenured with credentials and productivity appropriate to appointment at Utica College. Professors of Practice and adjunct faculty must have a current CPA or CMA designation and at least five years of experience in practice to qualify; candidates would ideally also have graduate degree from an accredited institution appropriate to teaching in a business school. In all cases, previous post-secondary teaching experience is an asset although not required.
