A component institution of the University of North Texas System, UNT Dallas became the first and only public institution of higher learning in the city of Dallas in September 2010. The next Dean will oversee a Division of Business that includes just over 20 faculty members, serves over 400 of UNT Dallas approximately 2,100 students, and houses 7 of the Universitys 16 undergraduate degrees and an MBA program—one of six graduate programs provided by the University. The Dean will serve as the spokesperson for business education on campus and in the region and will have the exciting opportunity to work with a Division of Business dedicated to providing high quality programs to its students and enhancing existing relationships with the Dallas-Fort Worth business community. The new Dean will report to, and partner closely with, the Provost and Vice President for Academic Excellence and Student Success to identify key opportunities for growth in the Division's academics, external relations, and student engagement and success.
