The Office of the Provost and the Office for Equity and Diversity at UW-Madison seek an experienced professional with demonstrated investigative experience, excellent written and oral communications skills, and exceptional leadership, and organizational skills, to serve as Special Assistant to the Provost-Complaint Investigator and Assistant Director, Office for Equity and Diversity.
The Special Assistant to the Provost-Complaint Investigator, independently investigates and assists in the resolution of complex, sensitive and high-profile discrimination complaints filed with the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Office for Equity and Diversity, (www.oed.wisc.edu) by University employees, including faculty, academic and classified staff, applicants for employment, students, applicants for admission, and visitors to campus alleging discrimination by the University or by an employee of the University. These complaints may be filed on bases contained in Federal and State non-discrimination statutes, and/or on bases contained in the non-discrimination policies and procedures of the University of Wisconsin-System and the UW-Madison, (http://oed.wisc.edu/filing-complaint.htm).
