The Executive Vice President and Provost reports to the President and Chancellor, Kenneth Winston Starr, and serves as the most senior member of the Presidents Executive Council. As the Universitys chief academic officer, the Executive Vice President and Provost leads Baylors complex academic enterprises and works closely with the executive council, deans, department chairs, faculty, staff, and regents in an effort to articulate a unified academic vision and to foster excellence in teaching, learning, and research within the context of a Christian worldview and milieu. Among the Executive Vice President and Provosts top priorities will be working closely with the University community and constituencies in implementing Pro Futuris, a strategic vision for Baylor.
