The University of Georgia invites applications and nominations for the position of Dean of the University of Georgia School of Law. The Dean serves as the intellectual, academic, and administrative leader of the School of Law. As such, the Dean must be distinguished in the field of law, a talented and resourceful administrator, and someone with the ability to develop and to communicate a shared vision of excellence that will build upon and enhance the School's already strong programs and reputation. Candidates for the Dean must have a terminal degree, a distinguished professional record, and qualify for tenure at the full professor level.

Candidates are encouraged to submit their materials by August 17, 2014; however, screening will continue until the position is filled.
