Position Summary:

Conducts statistical and financial/actuarial analysis of benefits, compensation, employment, and related HR information; produces decision support tools and analysis for long-range Human Resources strategic planning for the university, including budget projections and planning profiles; provides actuarial, statistical, and analytical support for the benefits budget for the university; conducts analytical and theoretical non-routine studies to assist in HR decision making and in developing policies and procedures; provides analytical support for HR-wide research; provides analytical support for collective bargaining; develops automation through computer programs and assists in the design and development of financial and information databases and systems; acts as a resource person for other areas in HR developing performance metrics, measurements and scorecards to evaluate the effectiveness of HR projects and programs.

Minimum Requirements:

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in finance/actuarial science/statistics or related field; three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in budgeting, financial/actuarial/statistical modeling and/or analysis, including use of spreadsheets and databases or other financial management software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
