The Executive Director will report to Dr. Karen Gil, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and will serve on the Dean's senior administrative team. The Executive Director also will partner closely with key leaders in the Universitys central advancement office to ensure a holistic and effective approach to fundraising for the College.  When the University officially enters campaign planning mode, the Executive Director will partner with the Dean, faculty, and senior administration officials to articulate campaign priorities and to communicate the Colleges funding objectives to its constituency.  In addition to managing a team of professional and administrative staff, the Executive Director will directly identify, cultivate, solicit and steward principal/major gift donors and prospects.
