The Marketing Area in the Scheller College of Business in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) is seeking tenure-track faculty candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting in fall 2015 to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level and to conduct research. We are primarily interested in candidates with an interest in Consumer Behavior. Candidates should possess demonstrated potential for excellent scholarly research. Candidates should be sufficiently advanced in their doctoral work and will need to complete their Ph.D. by August 15, 2015, which is the minimum requirement for the position. Salary and a teaching load of three courses of three semester hours per course per year are competitive with leading research universities. Initial screening of applications will begin July 1, 2014 and members of the faculty will be interviewing at the AMA Summer Conference being held in San Francisco.
The Marketing Area currently consists of eight faculty members and includes Ajay Kohli, former Editor of the Journal of Marketing. Faculty members have diverse backgrounds and pursue a variety of research interests.
