Duties and

Teach undergraduate courses in applied brass instruments, excluding French horn.

1.    DMA or Ph.D. in music. A Master of Music degree with a demonstrated national or international record of performance may be considered.
2.    Successful brass studio teaching experience, trumpet or trombone preferred.
1.    Successful college teaching experience in brass, trombone.
2.    The ability to teach in a secondary area.
The Successful
Candidate Will

Possess effective communication skills as a teacher and colleague; demonstrate an ability to foster the development of students in the brass area.

1.    In accordance with MSU policy, hiring will be conditional upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
