The Curriculum and Trainer Development Supervisor is responsible for supervising instructional specialists in developing and maintaining curriculum to be delivered both in-person and online; managing the Trainer Development component of the Curriculum and Trainer Development Department of the Child Welfare Resource Center including managing the recruitment, selection, development, and supervision of all trainers and consultants; assisting in the management of the Curriculum and Trainer Development Department in the absence of the Department Manager; participating as a team member of the Curriculum and Trainer Development Department; and participating in and managing projects with external and internal stakeholders.
Master's degree strongly preferred or a Bachelor's degree required in training and development, adult education, or closely related field required. Must have competency in adult education; instructional design, including the ADDIE model; training delivery and evaluation; and proficiency with Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint. Knowledge of Pennsylvania Child Welfare Practice is preferred.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal, writing, collaboration, problem-solving, planning/organizing, and facilitation skills required. Attention to detail, ability to plan and meet deadlines and quickly adapt and learn complicated software programs required.
Minimum of five years' experience in supervision, preferred, or in project management. Experience in delivering training and developing curriculum both online and in classroom is required. Experience in facilitating and leading groups strongly preferred. Experience in evaluation of trainers and curriculum preferred. Experience in public or private child welfare is preferred.
