Assistant Professor / Program Director of Nonprofit Leadership Studies Murray State University. Full time, tenure-track position to begin August 15, 2014.


  Ph.D./Ed.D in Nonprofit Leadership and Management or related discipline from an accredited institution required. ABDs with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered.  Applicants must demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, and service.

  Preference will be given to candidates with education and experience in nonprofit organization leadership, program and financial development and who complement existing areas of specialization of current faculty. Experience with service learning teaching methods will be highly valued.

  The faculty member is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses across the nonprofit leadership studies curriculum, both in the classroom and online, develop a research agenda, provide service to the university community, and serve as an advisor to students in the academic major. As Director of the Nonprofit Leadership Studies Program, the faculty member provides leadership to ongoing program development and operation activities.
