The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the University of Utah School of Medicine is recruiting a Pediatric Hematologist. The Pediatric Hematologist will provide clinical patient care services to pediatric patients with cancer and blood disorders focusing on benign hematology, bleeding disorders, hemophilia and thrombophilia. The provider will participate in a multidisciplinary hemophilia treatment center and clinic and manage the care of patients in the outpatient clinic and inpatient unit. There is an opportunity to participate in clinical and translational research projects and to implement clinical trials. In addition to clinical service, there is an expectation for academic work, including teaching, scholarly activity/research and administration.
Qualified candidates must have an M.D. or D.O., be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and possess excellent procedural and clinical skills. Candidates must also have focused training in pediatric hematology, hemophilia and thrombophilia. The successful candidate will receive a faculty appointment on the clinical or tenure track in the Department of Pediatrics. Rank will be dependent on qualifications.
