The School of Business and Economics at Michigan Technological University invites applications for a tenured/tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the area of Accounting starting August 2015.  Candidates with an interest in Auditing or Managerial Accounting are preferred, though all areas of specialization are encouraged to apply. 


The successful candidate will be expected to develop or continue a vigorous, nationally visible research program, and engage in quality teaching in both the undergraduate and graduate accounting degree programs.  Candidates must have a PhD in accounting. Candidates should send (1) a letter of application describing qualifications for the position, (2) a current CV, (3) three references, (4) a one page summary statement describing career research plans, and (5) a one page summary statement describing career teaching plans.  The position will remain open until filled.
