Senior Website Coordinator

Office of the President, Global Freedom of Expression and Information Project

 

Reporting to the Project Manager, Global Freedom of Expression and Information Project, the Senior Website Coordinator will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Global FoE/I Projects two websites, including web content management, writing and editing for the web, graphic design and site management.

 

Bachelors degree or its equivalent required.  Minimum two years of related experience.

 

Previous experience with Website Management, including uploading and tagging documents; monitoring web usage; using new technologies such as crowd sourcing.  Demonstrated expertise in Web content, usability, architecture, development and design.  Experience using content management systems such as Expression Engine, Word Press and Drupal.  Knowledge and experience with a range of analytic and information technologies, including search engines, text analyses software.  Ability to coordinate multiple activities with competing priorities as well as perform daily tasks with confidentiality and discretion.  Problem-solving skills.  Detail-oriented, exercise good judgment, and work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.  Highly proficient Microsoft Office skills needed.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
