Business and Applied Technologies
The Assistant Dean, Business and Applied Technologies, provides leadership in identifying, developing, and implementing new programming for the division. The assistant dean is responsible for building partnerships between Clark State Community College and business, industry, government, higher education, and K-12 organizations. This person works with and assists faculty in the development of learning outcomes, assessment processes, and program improvements. The assistant dean uses data collection and analysis to support decisions for existing programs improvements and the development of new programs. This position is also responsible for management oversight of the divisions Co-op and Internship Program
- Masters degree in a STEM, business, or other related field
- 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in industry, government, or academic leadership; partnership building; collaboration; and project management.
- 3-5 years of experience in education and training, preferably at the college level.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
