Instructional Faculty Position
for Developmental/College - Level Math
Full-time instructional faculty position available, starting fall semester 2014 (August 18, 2014). Candidates must have a Masters Degree in Mathematics, or in closely related field with 18 semester or 24 quarter credits earned at the graduate level in mathematics; a minimum of two years (full-time equivalent) successful collegiate teaching experience, and strong instructional technology skills.
Primary duties include classroom instruction in developmental (remedial) mathematics and college level mathematics; student academic advisement; and collaborating with other faculty in ongoing curriculum development, program review, and assessment of student learning. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and technology skills, ability to work in teams, flexibility to teach day or evening hours as needed, flexibility to teach at our Springfield or Beavercreek campuses. The position reports to the Dean of Arts & Sciences.
Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
