Assistant Professor of Public Relations
Middle Tennessee State University's School of Journalism seeks applications for a public relations tenure-track faculty position (Position No. 143360) at the rank of assistant professor to start in August 2014. Will teach undergraduate public relations courses with an interest in visual communication and multimedia applications as it relates to public relations or mass communication. The successful candidate also is expected to develop ties with professional PR/communications organizations and businesses, initiate and maintain an active scholarship record, and provide service to the School of Journalism, College of Mass Communication and the university.
Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in a mass communication or related area from an accredited institution is required. One year college-level teaching experience is required.
