Lewis University invites applications for a one-year faculty position in Broadcast Journalism for 2014-2015. This is a half-time, non-tenure track position in the Communications Department.

 

The individual will teach Introduction to Broadcast Journalism, Advanced Broadcast Journalism, Field Production and Corporate Communication, supervise student television news programming and student participation in journalism competitions. The ideal candidate will have experience with broadcast journalism, interactive media as well as field and studio production. The candidate will also be expected to participate in convergence initiatives and integrate new and emerging production techniques into the undergraduate curriculum.

 

A masters degree is required in Broadcast Journalism or related area. Some professional industry experience desired.
