The University of Tennessee is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Dean and Department Head, 4-H/ Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications. See for full position announcement.


Responsibilities: Provide leadership of statewide 4-H Extension programs and serve as Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications department head with the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.


Qualifications: Earned doctorate in Youth Development, Education, Agricultural Education, Higher Education Administration, Extension Education, Leadership and Communications or a related field of study. Work experience which has demonstrated skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. Ability to communicate powerful, clear and concise messages using excellent written and oral communication skills. Commitment to lifelong learning. Evidence of dedication and experience to accomplish objectives and benefit stakeholders. Evidence of scholarly accomplishments which qualify for appointment at the rank of Professor.
