The University of Missouri-Columbia (Mizzou) - the flagship campus of the University of Missouri - invites nominations and applications for the positions of Senior Director of Development in the Trulaske College of Business and Senior Director of Development in the College of Engineering.  The University seeks experienced advancement professionals who embrace the values of the University - respect, responsibility, discovery and excellence.  These professionals will be important additions to the advancement team in the early stages of a ground breaking campaign, and will be called upon to further its constituent relations and fundraising efforts.   

Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2014, Trulaske is a national leader in the training of business leaders and is renowned for a century of leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship.  With

nearly 5,000 students in undergraduate business, accounting, Crosby MBA, doctoral, and executive MBA programs, the College is on a phenomenal growth track.  Dean Joan Gabel is a nationally-recognized and engaged leader in business education who has worked with College constituencies to fashion a new strategic plan that will drive innovation and inspire fundraising engagement.  The College sports a new brand, new diversity initiatives, new scholars, expansion internationally and numerable programmatic improvements.  It is a College on the move and growing quickly.

Campaign priorities for the College will focus on significantly-enhanced and new facilities, faculty research and support, chairs, program enhancements and naming opportunities in the nationally-competitive accounting program, the doctoral program, and student scholarships.

The successful candidates for these two positions will be persons with a distinguished record of personal engagement and achievement in advanced annual giving, major/principal gifts and/or campaigns.  Three to five years of progressively responsible and successful fundraising experience, preferably in higher education is desired.  Successful candidates will display an unusual ability to build effective relationships with a diverse group of key internal and external constituents and will demonstrate capability of enhancing team performance.  For more information about these positions and to read the full position descriptions, please go to:
