JOB DESCRIPTION: The Manager CIM Laboratory is responsible for the management, organization, and supervision of the daily operations of the Undergraduate CIM lab and Concrete Research Lab in the Concrete Industry Management Department. In addition, the lab manager will provide support in off campus research and community project efforts. Essential tasks include: perform materials and supply inventories, order materials, and assist faculty in lab set up for classes; provide consultation to faculty and student project teams; work with faculty and students on undergraduate research, competitions and certifications. Maintain lab equipment; supervise student workers in the labs; coordinate the acquisition, development, and use of equipment resources used to support and enhance student's education; coordinate any graduate student research activities in the labs along with faculty members and perform other related tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree and three years of progressively responsible experience in concrete construction, production or materials laboratory required.
