Reports to the Department of Individual Studies; provides academic information to declared and prospective General Studies (GS) majors, Bachelor of Liberal Studies (BLS) students and distance education students; assists with off-campus course scheduling and support; assists with UNI's Guided Independent Study (GIS) program; and conducts research and performs other duties pertaining to the Individual Studies Program.
Masters degree in postsecondary education/student affairs or related field required. At least one year of administrative work in distance/online education or one year academic advising experience in a higher education setting required. Student experience will be considered. Criminal and other relevant background checks required.
