This position is responsible for evaluating, developing and recommending training in areas of supervisory, management, compliance and other training programs in support of the University of Floridas Physical Plant Divisions Leadership Development Team.

This position partners with the Physical Plant Leadership Development Team to identify the most effective performance solutions for supervisors and managers and will identify leadership training specific to Physical Plant policies and practices in conjunction with existing UF leadership training.

To qualify you must have:

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Organization, prioritization and planning skills
Knowledge of training procedures and methods
Ability to research and identify training and development resources and acquire appropriate resources for use in the training and development programs.

Ability to work independently.

Work hours are 8am 5pm M-F.

A criminal background check will be conducted.



Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor degree or two year degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Human Resources or Organizational Development, and five years of progressively responsible experience in business, industry, or University employee training, which includes experience in management training.
Experience may substitute for education.


Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, web-based instruction, etc.)
