The College of Arts and Sciences of New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), an independent senior comprehensive college with campuses on Long Island, in Manhattan, and in various countries providing graduate and undergraduate education to over 14,000 students, seeks applicants for multiple Full-Time faculty positions in computer graphic and animation under the Department of Fine Arts starting in Fall of 2014 at NYIT in Beijing, China. NYIT is offering MFA in cooperation with Communication University of China (CUC) in Beijing. The responsibilities of the positions include: Teach various graduate courses including Concept, Character, Storyboard Development, and Thesis; advising students on site; coordinate academic activities with the Fine Arts Department in New York; Engage in professional advancement and research. A MFA or an equivalent earned terminal degree in computer graphics/animation is required. The position also require skills in Character Design, Storytelling, Storyboarding, and 3D Animation.
