The Department of Communication Design at Kutztown University invites applications for one semester, part-time, temporary positions in Communication Design, Fall 2014.
Requirements: BFA in Communication Design or related field required, MFA in Communication Design or related field preferred. 1 year college-level teaching experience or equivalent professional experience in the Graphic and/or Advertising Design field is required. Candidate must be proficient with industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and able to produce high-quality, computer-based design, layout, illustration and photography. Must have knowledge of print production techniques and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Graphic Design.
Class Responsibilities: The candidate may apply to teach one or more of the following courses: Intro to Digital Design II, Professional Practices, Corporate Publication for the sophomore and senior level respectively.
A successful interview and demonstration of relevant ability required. Salary competitive.
