In 2014, the University of Colorado transferred and redistributed its entire advancement operation from the CU Foundation to its four individual campuses as well as a central program and service unit at CU Headquarters. The university now seeks to fill the position of Vice Chancellor for Advancement at the University of Colorado Boulder who will be responsible for leading the campuss advancement program and for creating and executing a strategy to more than double fund-raising results. The Vice Chancellor will report jointly to the Chancellor of CU-Boulder and the CU Executive Vice President for Advancement and will oversee 84 staff in major and principal gifts, athletics fund raising, alumni and parent programs, and volunteer engagement.
