Tulane University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is recruiting a faculty position at the Assistant Professor level for a licensed clinical psychologist to work in an intervention program for children involved with child protective services and their families. This position entails assessment of children and families, provision of evidenced based interventions, supervision of social work, psychology and psychiatry trainees, and working closely with other faculty and parent educators in the program and community professionals. Training and experience in Infant Mental Health and with child protective services and research methodology is required. The position will also entail collaborating on research on the development and neurobiological underpinnings of mother infant attachment, including coordinating and conducting assessments in 12-month-old infants, including administering and scoring the Bayley Scales of Infant Development and the Strange Situation Procedure. In addition, the faculty member will participate in data coding and analysis, manuscript and grant preparation and will be encouraged to develop novel hypotheses and independent research. The faculty member will contribute to ongoing educational and other activities within the Department
