The Department of Art Education and Crafts at Kutztown University invites applications for a non-tenured, full-time, one-year, temporary position, with possibility of renewal, in introductory Design courses with possible coursework in Furniture Design or Digital Animation, beginning in the Fall of 2014. Required: MFA, 3 years of teaching experience or equivalent, a successful teaching demonstration, and an interview. Teaching duties will include sections of 2D design, 3D design, and/or courses for non-majors. All applicants must demonstrate a professional understanding of contemporary concepts in art, craft, and design. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate an affinity for and a commitment to working with freshman and sophomore visual arts students.
