St. Lawrence University invites applications for a Coordinator for Volunteer Services to join our Student Life team.  The primary role of the Coordinator is to create learning opportunities for students which encourage them to develop, practice and incorporate the principles of service and leadership.  The Coordinator manages and promotes service opportunities for students and serves as a liaison between community partners, campus organizations, administrative departments, and individual students interested in service.  The coordinator also advises community service related organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Campus Kitchens Project, and SLU mentoring programs.

Requirements: Bachelors degree with a minimum of 1 year of post-graduate non-profit or community service experience. A Masters degree in Student Development, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, or a related field in addition to experience is preferred.  Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a high attention to detail and an ability to work collaboratively in achieving the goals of the program.

The position is a nine month, full-time position with the potential to increase to 12 months.  Compensation includes a competitive salary, housing and a comprehensive benefits package.
