Western Illinois University's School of Agriculture seeks a Director, beginning July 1, 2014 in Macomb, Illinois.

Required qualifications include: Earned doctorate in an Agriculture field or related discipline; current rank of Professor or eligible for rank of Professor upon appointment; demonstrated record of distinguished teaching, research/scholarship, and service; excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills; effective written and oral communication skills; ability to work effectively with multiple constituencies; and excellent fiscal management skills.  

Preferred qualifications include: experience in student recruitment and retention, personnel recruitment, development and evaluation, curriculum development, and strategic planning and plan implementation; a record of involvement in professional societies and in community relations; fund raising skills and success in securing extramural funding.
