St. Lawrence Universitys Graduate Counseling Program invites applications for a one-year, Visiting Assistant Professor position (academic year 2014-2015). The successful candidate will share our vision for training highly competent and effective counselors from a liberal arts perspective and a commitment to issues of social justice. Position begins August 2014

Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching graduate-level courses in Counseling (3 courses each in the fall and spring semesters) including courses such as: relationships between families and schools; counseling theory and practice; psychopathology; group counseling; aging, death and bereavement; and evaluation and appraisal techniques.
Applicants must possess a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision or closely related field and must be licensed or license eligible as a mental health counselor in New York State.
