WSU invites you to join our Community of Learners as an Instructor/Assistant Professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice. This is a fixed-term/9 month appointment starting August 18, 2014. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching 2 sections of Law Enforcement Investigations and Communications; 2 sections of Operations and Procedures in Law Enforcement; and four sections of Criminal Justice courses as needed. Additional duties include: 1) participating in department/university committees; 2) engaging in scholarly research; and 3) advising undergraduate students. If you possess a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice of related field, we encourage you to apply.
