Hospitality Management: Indiana University, School of Public Health-Bloomington, Department of Recreation, Park, and Tourism Studies (RPTS) Non-Tenure Track Faculty Position, Visiting Lecturer. Position: Visiting Lecturer (Non-tenure track, 10 month appointment, renewable for a second year). Primary Responsibilities: Provide highest quality instruction in the undergraduate tourism, hospitality and event management major and departmental core courses. Teach courses in the areas of lodging/resort management, international tourism, sustainable tourism, and/or meeting planning and event management. Participate in a research program relevant to the tourism, hospitality and event management specialization. Provide leadership in service learning offerings within the major as well as building community and industry partnerships. Provide service to the department, institution and profession. Create and maintain direct relationships with scholarly and professional institutions and organizations. Lead recruitment activities of undergraduate and graduate students as well as professionals who seek advanced education degree. Qualifications: A Master's degree is required, and earned doctorate is desired. Demonstrated record of teaching excellence, curriculum development, and student engagement required. Evidence of professional engagement and field based experience in related hospitality and tourism services. Salary: Commensurate with experience.
