Job Description: This position is responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining all expects of end-user computing for the Academic Technology computer labs and related services. The Academic Technology computer labs consists of roughly 750 seats in computer classrooms and open use labs in various locations across campus. These seats are a mixture of PCs, Macs, and thin-clients. This position is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills and work with a team that embraces new technology and is consistently adapting to changes in instructional technology use. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated problem solving skills, organizational skills, and customer service orientation is required. The technical aspects of the position include machine image creation and deployment, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell scripting, license server management. Familiarity with virtualization technologies and application packaging/deployment is preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Must be able to interact with end-users as well as IT staff across campus to resolve issues and develop new solutions to campus needs. Must be able to adapt to change.
Minimum Requirements: Associatedegree and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience
