The University Of Florida Department Of Anesthesiology seeks 2 committed physician faculty members for tenure and non-tenure track Assistant / Associate / Full Professor to teach and practice at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida, a tertiary care teaching facility located in Gainesville, FL (including, Level I Trauma Center / High risk Ob / Stroke Center / Level 4 NICU / Congenital Heart Center / Organ Transplantation / Cancer Center). These positions require skills in clinical care, research, and/or education with a documented FELLOWSHIP or other post residency training, ABA certification/eligibility, and credentials to obtain a State of Florida physicians license.  Abundant opportunities exist to develop independent and collaborative research as well as innovative education models. Salary is negotiable commensurate with experience and education. Department anesthesiologists practice in Shands Hospital at the University of Florida alongside 60 faculty anesthesiologists, 78 residents, 14 fellows, and 42 CRNA/AAs.  University benefits include 403(b), health insurance, Baby Gator child care, domestic partner benefits, sovereign immunity, and others.
