A willingness to teach across the curriculum is necessary, and a background in experimental physics is highly desirable.
- The candidate is expected to attend Department and College Faculty meetings and engage in departmental activities. The candidate is also encouraged to be involved at the College and/or University level.
- As this is a one year appointment, the candidate is not expected to establish an undergraduate research program. However, there are opportunities to collaborate on projects in optics, high energy physics, physics/astronomy education research, and nanomaterials at Lewis if desired.
