Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with moving, setting up, and testing lighting.

Assist with sound, props, and performing a variety of backstage tasks.

Assist performers and wardrobe changes and other miscellaneous tasks.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience - Some stagehand experience required.
• May not be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Texas A&M International University.

Knowledge of:

• Word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Audio & Visual equipment

Ability to:

• Multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to work under time sensitive constraints.

Physical Requirements - General office environment (repetitive movement, standing, walking, pushing, pulling and moderate to heavy lifting)

Other Requirements

• Position requires working evening and/or weekends hours.
• Position requires keeping a work schedule of 19 hours per week.

Salary: $15.00 per hour (19 hours weekly)
