TENURE TRACK Assistant Professor
The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Texas A&M University-Kingsville (TAMUK) is growing and invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Industrial Engineering. The position is available starting August 2014 subject to the pending fund approval. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution or university; have at least 18 graduate hours in industrial engineering coursework; and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. The position will be expected to be able to teach a broad range of industrial engineering courses with research interests in sustainable energy and manufacturing, ergonomics, and stochastic modeling and simulation, be interested in interacting with students, as well as recruiting and mentoring. Individuals with industrial experience are encouraged to apply.
