Clinical Assistant Professor needed to work at a Family Medicine at Main clinic.

The position is responsible for delivery of direct primary health care with teaching responsibilities for UF medical students and Family Medicine residents assigned to clinic and participating in departmental activities such as clinic attending and precepting.

Position Description: Education Activities 30% FTE Supervise, observe, and evaluate medical students and Family Medicine residents at the Family Medicine at Main Street, as well as other sites within the College of Medicine.

Conduct teaching rounds with medical students and Family Medicine residents on the Family Medicine inpatient service.

Clinical 70% FTE Share in customary faculty duties such as precepting, direct patient care, attending at Shands facilities, and participating in the call rotation.

Participate in education, conferences, seminars, and lectures.

 

Minimum Requirements: M.D. degree or equivalent, board Certification or eligibility in Family Medicine and current Florida medical license or eligibility is required.
