Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Physician


The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology at the University of Utah School of Medicine is recruiting a Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Physician.  The Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Physician will join a team of 5 other pulmonologists located in Primary Childrens Medical Center. This position is a 0.5 0.75 FTE position in Pediatric Sleep Medicine with the remainder in general Pediatric Pulmonology.  This position includes the Sleep Program Directorship at Primary Childrens Hospital.  This physician will provide inpatient and outpatient pulmonary consultation and ongoing care to be shared with other members of the division, though the focus of this position is sleep medicine.

In addition to clinical service, there is an expectation for academic work, including teaching, research, administration, as well as advocacy. 

 

Qualified candidates must have an M.D. or D.O., must be Board Qualified/Board Certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Pulmonology and Pediatric Sleep Medicine.  Preference will be given to candidates who have at least 5 years of experience as a faculty member within a pediatric sleep program.   The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment on the Clinical track in the Department of Pediatrics at the rank of Associate Professor.
