UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON Religious Studies Program invites applications for associate director of the Religious Studies Program. The appointment would begin March 18, 2014. Applicants must have completed Ph.D. or Th.D. in Religion or related field and should have 3-5 years experience in each of the following: -teaching core Religious Studies courses (such as upper-level theory) in an academic institution, including a broad range of course development -administrative experience and program development in a university or related setting -experience with undergraduate curriculum development in Religious Studies or related area The incumbent will serve as Associate Director of the Religious Studies Program managing all undergraduate academic and outreach programs; teach three courses in Religious Studies each year; assist Director and Executive Committee in planning and implementing program directions and priorities; supervise and coordinate day to day programming for undergraduate education; monitor degree programs; oversee advising of Religious Studies degree students; coordinate curricular revisions; coordinate student recruitment.
