The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for a Computer Systems Administrator 2 position for the IT Department. UC Blue Ash College is the largest regional college in Ohio, located in Blue Ash, Ohio with an enrollment of approximately 6100 students. Primary responsibilities of this position include: daily administration of UCBA Windows Servers and Desktops; Configuration and monitoring of SCCM system; Packaging Windows applications for deployment; Update deployment and monitor; Operating System Deployment creation, modification, and troubleshooting; Maintain, test, and update disaster recovery plans for UCBA Windows systems.
Job Description: The majority of duties performed in this IT Broadband class include installing, maintaining, and modifying operating systems, database management systems, utilities, and related software. Other key duties include ensuring the availability, integrity, and reliability of assigned systems. Positions in this IT Broadband class are primarily responsible for large-scale operating systems and database management systems that typically serve the entire campus or large multi-unit departments. Positions in this IT Broadband class typically do not write applications software as a majority function.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related degree and 3 years of experience; or an associate degree with 5 years of experience; or a combination of relevant education and 7 years of experience.
The ideal candidate will have two plus years experience with using System Center Configuration Manager in a higher educational environment.
