Oxford College seeks applications for the position of Dean of Enrollment Services.  Reporting to the Dean of the College and CEO, the Dean of Enrollment Services is a critical member of the campus leadership team.  With a staff of 21, Enrollment Services includes Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions, Financial Aid, and Records and Registration.  Over the last decade, applications for admission to Oxford College increased fivefold and the average SAT of entering freshmen increased 130 points.  We are seeking an experienced professional and leader who can continue this trajectory of success while effectively balancing each entering class in terms of credentials, diversity, and financial aid expense.


Preferred candidates will have ten years of experience in college admissions in positions of increasing responsibility, broad experience with information systems supporting college admissions and registration, a record of effective collaboration with peers across the college and/or university, and a record of leadership that has inspired members of his/her team to excel in pursuit of shared goals.  The candidate will work collaboratively with Emory College to recruit students for Emory University.  S/he will have broad knowledge of what are currently considered best practices in recruitment, admissions, financial aid, and budget management as well as be creative in finding solutions to emergent challenges.


Oxford College is a specialized division of Emory University that enrolls 900 students in a liberal arts intensive program for the first two years of the Emory baccalaureate degree.  The student body is highly diverse.  Students who complete the Oxford program are automatically juniors in Emory College or the Woodruff School of Nursing as they choose, or may compete with other Emory juniors for admission to the Goizueta School of Business.  Occupying Emory’s original, historic campus thirty miles east of Atlanta in the village of Oxford, GA, the largest classes typically enroll thirty three students.  Distinctive characteristics of the Oxford experience are the close working relationships between faculty and students and the College’s exceptional sense of supportive community.  For more information, please see
