Job Responsibilities: Qualitative Research Method Adjunct Faculty members will be responsible for teaching qualitative, research design, and basic research courses, potentially serving on dissertation committees at the Ph.D. program in Global Leadership. As a Qualitative Adjunct Faculty member he/she will be asked to help students prepare completed manuscripts for conference presentations and publications. This is an exciting position as the individual will be engaged in advancing studies in the emerging field of global leadership.
Requirements: The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in any field of social sciences and advanced training in qualitative research method. At least 5 years of teaching experience at a graduate level and relevant research experience are expected. Experience in working on or leading research committees is highly preferred. A successful candidate should work well on collaborative projects and enjoy assisting doctoral students in their doctoral journey. Online teaching experience is desired. Experience in publishing in peer-reviewed journals is encouraged. Our online program has a relational approach to teaching and good interpersonal skills are essential for a successful candidate.
Residency and Dissertation Defenses Attendance: Qualitative Adjunct Faculty will be expected to attend dissertation defenses in person at Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, if he or she chooses dissertation committee service. In addition, this candidate will be asked to attend at least one of the Residencies a year. Residency weekends are three day events that are scheduled for students at the Indiana Tech Fort Wayne campus.
