Salary Range: Classification Range $3,694 - $7,131 per month(Hiring range depending on qualifications, not anticipated to exceed $3,694 - $4,400 per month)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; This is a temporary position to end on or before June 30, 2025, with a possibility of renewal on an annual basis if funds or program needs exist.

About the Position:

The Division of Information Technology, in partnership with the Pollak Library, is committed to fostering full inclusion by providing devices and access to a comprehensive technology ecosystem for all students. This commitment has led to the creation of the Center for Equitable Digital Access (CEDA), through which all students will have equal access to technology. We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as the Administrative Analyst/Specialist - Non-Exempt. Under the general supervision of the Associate Vice President for Infrastructure Services and the Assistant Vice President for Academic Technology, the Administrative Analyst provides executive level administrative support to meet the goals of Information Technology. Assists the Associate Vice Presidents (AVPs) with the day-to-day administrative operations of the department. Research, compiles, and maintains databases. Serves as the primary contact for the Associate Vice Presidents. Coordinates staff events and meeting logistics. Independently, coordinates and completes departmental projects for AVPs. Supports AVPIT projects and programs in the production, editing, and quality review of documentation, in support of the full project management lifecycle. Analyzes and reconciles travel arrangements. Updates office policies and procedures handbook. Independently, process timekeeping for the division. Works closely with campus departments. Other duties as assigned.


Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving the study, analysis, evaluation, development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs. Working knowledge of the general practices, program, or administrative specialty. Basic knowledge of and the ability to apply fundamental concepts. Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures. Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the applicable program, organizational unit, or administrative specialty. Knowledge of and the ability to apply basic methods and procedures used for research and statistical analysis. Ability to analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistical techniques. Ability to make independent decisions, exercise sound judgment, handle multiple priorities, and organize and plan work assignments. Ability to compile, write, and present reports related to program or administrative specialty. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to complete the background check satisfactorily may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.
