Job Description: The University of Florida is seeking applicants for multiple tenure or tenure-track positions at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. These positions are part of the University of Floridapreeminence initiative, with the goal of strategic faculty hires to further elevate our national academic and research standing to one of the top 10 public universities in the United States. The selected faculty members will have the opportunity for a significant advancement of the universitynational leadership role in genomic medicine, through the UF Health Personalized Medicine Program and the Genomic Medicine Initiative. This is a joint effort between the Colleges of Pharmacy, Medicine, and Public Health and Health Professions. We are seeking scientists with expertise in: pharmacogenomics; personalized/precision medicine; cancer genomics; genomic bioinformatics (especially developing analytic pipelines for quality control of data); identification of sequence variants and annotation of those variants; statistical genetics; clinical molecular pathology; or related human genome scientists. Minimum Requirements: Applicants should have a doctoral degree in an appropriate field. Successful candidates for Associate\/Full Professor positions will have a strong current funding record, a proven track record of publication in top journals, recognition as a current or emerging leader in their discipline, demonstrated ability to establish or work effectively in interdisciplinary collaborations. Candidates are expected to maintain a strong extramurally-funded research program.
