Kent State University at Stark invites applications for a full-time, nine month, non-tenure track (NTT) position as Instructor of Mathematics, beginning Fall Semester 2014. Potential applicants will be able to contribute to a growing Mathematics Department by teaching multiple courses that range from Developmental Mathematics through Calculus. The NTT faculty members of Kent State University at Stark teach 15 credit hours per semester and are actively engaged in pedagogical innovation. This position may also include duties of maintaining and coordinating a highly structured Developmental Mathematics program.
Qualifications: A Master's Degree in Mathematics is required. Ph.D. degree in mathematics/mathematics education or Master's in mathematics education with significant experience will be considered. Excellence in teaching is expected and required. Experience in web-based mathematics educational software is beneficial.
